AHAR will re-home dogs to anywhere in Ireland including the North. Where there’s a will, we find the way!! Back at the end of June AHAR were thrilled to re-home 3 wee pups to 3 families who were great friends around the Lisburn area in North Ireland thanks to a complicated transport run which involved our fantastic Patron Sharon Shannon taking a detour en route to a gig to drop them off!!
The three siblings were part of a litter of 9 which were left abandoned at AHAR’s gates. Sadly, several of them were suffering from a nasty gastric disease and 3 of them didn’t make it. But the other 6 fought through their illness and these 3 well and truly landed on their paws with their respective wonderful families. The ‘wee pups’ have grown up so much and are looking fantastic!
Pictured here in August 2013 (from left to right) are Tracy (with Rosie – the dog with the white chest), Nicola (who kindly sent us the photo) with Tracy’s son Dean, Marion with her dog Emer (short for Emerald) and Nicola’s son Jamie with Poppy. They were all here having a wonderful day out at the local dog park and we can’t thank Nicola, Tracy and Marion enough for reaching out to re-home them from so far away.
With so many pups being abandoned at AHAR’s doors, it’s wonderful to get happy, positive updates like this about some of those who are now enjoying the wonderful life they deserve.
