We are trying to get an older GSD girl up to a great forever home in Belfast. A few people have offered to take her to Dublin, which is terrific, but in about a week or so.
And a few offered to take her to Belfast or nearby which is also terrific. But the timing of these didn't meet up.
We want this to happen ASAP, as the poor girl needs a home before the winter gets in.
If there is anybody who could do this trip or part of, please could they pm us with their phone number telling us the date etc.

Tonight, all over Ireland there is animals hungry, in pain and alone feeling helpless and afraid.
Please help us find them before its too late. My dreams are haunted by seeing them humming this song and the fact that I don't know where they are.
Thank you again for always supporting us. xx

Beauty also has a new friend to live with, his name is Paddy. Paddy was so glad to see her ,as his best friend had died and he was also heart broken like the Beasley family. Every day he waited at the gate for his friend to come back, little did he know he would never see him again. As I left tonight. They grazed side by side in peace. So Beauty has started to help mend lot of broken hearts. I know there is a place for every animal we save, that's why im always begging for help. Every donation matters, like every life to us xx

As I had said today, little Beauty was booked for a five star home like Dallas.
In reality, two weeks ago today Beauty was booked in to be slaughtered. Everyone had given up on her, nobody wanted to buy her little life at the horse fairs so the only thing for her… the meat man would buy her.
But thanks to Jenny Colthurst for ringing us to help buy her from the meat man, we changed Beauties story and future together. That's Jenny, AHAR, everyone who donated to buy her and the Beasley family for adopting her.
As you drive in their drive way. All that's in your head is wow.
It is so beautiful from the farm, to the b & b, to the gardens to even the family. So down to earth and loving.
Their hearts are broken after their beloved horse of twenty five years died. After they saw all the ponies on face book saved from the meat man they knew they had the home and love to give one and what better way to remember a much loved horse but to save a fellow equine in his remembrance.
Tonight they had tears in their eyes, remembering their old friend and telling us how much they loved him. But I had tears in my eyes for Beauty. She went from dust to diamonds because of an army of animal lovers who refuse to give up on saving as many as we can together.
You have no idea how good I feel tonight, how much I love horses and rescue work. Its food for your soul. I hope all of you feel so good too. We could never do this without you. I love all of you for every dream you've ever given me and the animals of AHAR. I always think of the song 'somewhere, out there' when I find them a home. I see them all alone humming this song, waiting for someone to love them. Tears pouring down my face writing this…. thank you from Beauty xx

Anne Talbot recently raised a whopping €1,500 towards AHAR's new premises. Well she finally got to visit tonight and this is what she had to say…..
Well at last a wish held for such a long time has come through…. got to spend a couple of the most wonderful hours this evening with the amazing Suzanne Gibbons at AHAR… met some of the gorgeous residents and have fallen totally in love with the beautiful Windy and her little puppy. Looking forward to spending what will be the first of many days with them all next week. Can't wait. Here is a of picture of Pippa the beautiful horse Suzanne got for free on Done deal, that she plans to showjump, trying to eat the cheque given to AHAR, the money raised from the recent Kerry Motor Club Rallysprint. — with Richard Talbot.
Anne and Richard, thank you sooo much from the bottom of our hearts. Looking forward to having you back to help xx

The new AHAR Rescue Centre, which we are currently fundraising to purchase, is a former Equestrian Centre with 30 acres of land including a Stable Block, arena and outbuildings located near Castleisland in Co Kerry.
As part of our fund-raising drive, at the start of May we made the 28 existing stables there available for sponsorship. We are thrilled that 27 of these stables are now sponsored, the most recent one by Mairead who recently donated to sponsor a full stable – we know you aren’t looking for publicity Mairead (hence the lack of your surname!!) but a HUGE thank you from all at AHAR!
This means that just 1 of the 28 Stables at the new AHAR Rescue Centre is now left available for life-time sponsorship (with a plaque on the door) for a once-off donation of €1,000. It can be sponsored by an individual, business or a group of family members or friends.
If there is anyone who would like to sponsor the remaining stable outright for the full €1,000, you can do so through the following link – http://on.ahar.ie/stable
We have previously also organised a number of very successful Stable Syndicates to recognise important animals (and people!) at AHAR, including the likes of Bonnie and Clyde, Romeo and Juliet, Honky the pig, Dottie Pottie, Suzanne and her sadly departed showjumper Bob, and most recently of course our special Princess Passion (and not forgetting her guardian angel collie Arion!)
So, if we don’t get an outright sponsor for the last stable, we would welcome suggestions for any other AHAR–related animals or people that we might commemorate through our last Stable Syndicate.

There is now 4 of these pigs left and their time is now up. So we are collecting them. We have a home for two. We will be looking for homes for two of them. Please contact us if you would like to adopt them. As of now they are safe.
There are 9 of these wanting homes very soon, 6 males, 3 females. They are in Wexford. The owner took on a female and was told it was neutered. However they soon discovered that it wasn't the case. They cannot keep all 9. There were 12 originally as 3 have found homes. Some other people were interested but never followed up. They will have to go to slaughter if not re-homed. Please phone Claire on 0867240727 if interested and can everyone please SHARE. Thank you.

Our friends in North West SPCA Ballina have asked us to share the story of Shipwreck, to expose the reality of what animals are still suffering all over the country.
This little guy was found tonight literally staggering on the road near Lisglennon water works, Cooneal, Killala area. Physically he is in horrendous condition, his left eye is gone! and there is pus dripping from the socket – sorry if this is upsetting but just think how he must be feeling. He has a leg wound, is thin, filthy BUT has purred since he was picked up. This cat is not feral (obviously) has clearly been 'socialised' – Who does he belong to?, who has been feeding him?, and excuse me if this sounds a little bit rude but ARE YOU BLIND?? Did you not notice??
'Shipwreck' has had an emergency assessment tonight and will be having surgery tomorrow. He deserves a chance and will be getting it. And whoever you are, let's just hope that you don't have any other 'pets'!
