Another brave skydiver we'd like to introduce is singer/songwriter Johnny Brady. Johnny has been involved in the live music industry for almost 20 years, and during this time he has had the honour of working with a host of well-known musicians and performers. The front man in some very successful touring shows and acts, Johnny has performed in every major venue in Ireland.

“I am really excited and delighted to have been asked to join this wonderful group of celebrities to do a sponsored skydive on Saturday Sept 7th in Galway to raise much needed funds for this very hard working volunteer group "Animal Heaven Animal Rescue". As a animal lover I think AHAR are doing fantastic work and I'm delighted to be able to help in any way I can. When I'm not out on the road gigging one of my ways of relaxing is taking my two Jack Russell's Teeny and Jamie out for long country walks. I would greatly appreciate your support if you could sponsor me and help me to help AHAR”

    Please support Johnny http://on.ahar.ie/idonatejohnny

We have been very generously donated this beautiful antique butterfly brooch to put up for a prize draw, with all the proceeds to go to the capital fund for the purchase of permanent premises for our new AHAR Rescue Centre.

You can buy one or multiple tickets (at a cost of €10 each) for the prize draw at the following link – http://on.ahar.ie/butterfly

The brooch is hard to photograph but it is exquisite. The body and head of the butterfly are made of blue opals, there are four rubies in each wing and two emeralds, all set on gold. There are also small diamonds on its shimmering wings and it comes in its original Mappins and Web case.

It must be worth several hundred Euros (if not more) and would be a beautiful piece of jewellery to win, and of course all proceeds will be going towards AHAR's new forever home!
