Good morning everyone. I know its a day of rest but we have had a call from the meat man. (If you remember we stopped a truck load of ponies going for slaughter two weeks ago) Well we asked him to ring us in future if he had equines that he had no buyers for and we would try raise the funds to save them and stop them going to slaughter. So he rang this morning, he has two cobs and two ponies at the moment ready to go to slaughter. The cost is 125eu a pony then 100eu to transport to us at AHAR. He has given us until Wednesday. I know its a big ask but if a large number of people chip in a little together I know we can do this. We need to raise 600eu by lunch time Wednesday.
Please share with friends. Keep your fingers crossed. Thank you xx

Today could only be described as a tube station on fast forward. Every dog was walked and groomed. Their kennels were cleaned at least five times. Each dog that was due a vaccine or advocate was done. All of them got fresh bedding and a new toy. Joy and Emma were like two after three cans of red bull. They had the next dog waiting to be walked while the other was on its way back. Georgia was taking names and planning home checks. Nathan and Megan were running round feeding, giving hay to the horses. Passion was spoilt with loads of tlc and presents. When Linda met her she cried. She said I cant believe I finally met her. Ahhh that even made me cry. This is what its all about. Team work for the animals. Thank you to everyone who turned up today. You made such a difference to their little lives xx

We received another lovely update about one of the Malamute puppies we recently re-homed from Ethan McGrath this evening.

'Hello Ethan here, the malamute we got off you a few weeks ago is going great. She's been here 3 weeks and everything is going well. She's getting big and we're delighted to have her and I am sure she is delighted to be here. She is nice and settled now, loves to come inside and is great to have around. I would like to thank you for giving her to us. We are very happy with her and Im sure she is very happy as well – and I'm sure you are delighted she is in a great home!'

We are indeed delighted Ethan – and what a lovely photo! Wishing you all many happy years together!
