Last week we put up an appeal from a lovely lady called Polly who was trying to re-home a gorgeous JRT called Buddy who had taken up residence on her doorstep after clearly coming from a difficult background. Polly couldn’t keep him as she already had a houseful of her own dogs but very kindly fed him and treated his weepy eyes before getting in touch with AHAR to ask for our help in finding Buddy a home.
Well a woman called Nicola Falcus saw the post about Buddy on the AHAR Facebook page and was so moved that she got in touch from Cumbria in the north of England offering Buddy a forever home. After appropriate checks and lots of planning, Buddy has arrived safely via a recommended dog transporter in his forever home in the north of Britain. He arrived in an air conditioned, fully fitted transporter having been fed, watered and walked, and was in good spirits. In Polly’s own words: “We can highly recommend Aiden the dog transporter who happily texted both myself and Nicola during his journey from Kerry to the North of England to reassure us. Aiden was recommended by AHAR’s regular transporter who was unable to help and can be contacted on +353 (86) 604 7891.”
This wonderful little guy now has 9 acres, 24-hour loving company, horses and cats (both of which he gets on well with!) and is already wagging his tail happily. Previously scared of contact and probably abused, he has immediately recognised the good guys! He has found his home!
