You know in life you cross paths with many people. Ya? Well on Saturday two girls called Annmarie and Sandra came to help from Galway and Cork. You would swear they were always here. They worked so hard and just fitted in like a glove. They turned up this morning to load all the dogs, feed water and clean them all. I just want to say how happy i am you found AHAR. Cant wait to have you back xx

Well Mary Knowles got caught sneaking photos of people with her new camera!! This lunatic of a woman is the reason i laugh 24/7. She cracks me up with her funny stories not to mind her warped sence of humor.
Today she went selling snails…. what the hell next? Lol.
Thats what i love about my friends of AHAR, they like a crazy selection box of chocolates xx

  • A walk with our friends…. of AHAR.
This has to be the first photo. When Breda Power got out of bed this morning… little did she know she would offer to walk a Kerry pound puppy. And fall in love and take him home tonight. Sorry for laughing Breda, but i am delighted!…

    Suzanne here.
I just want to say how much i was blown away today by the amount of people who turned up to support our walk. I didnt get time to say hello to everyone but i did see all the beautiful ex pound dogs that you adopted from AHAR and you turned inside out. They looked stunning and so well mannered. There was not one quarrel between the dogs and there was soooo many.
We had loads of help with photos so there will lots over the next few days.
I just want to say thanks from my heart to all of you again for supporting AHAR it means a brighter future in many ways for dogs on death row in Ireland. Hope you like all the photos xx

A huge thank you to everyone who supported us today – we had over 200 people and 150 dogs walking, it was incredible. To all of the team of volunteers in AHAR thank you for your support in making this a great day. Finally, if you didn't return your sponsorship card today please do so in the next week or so, my contact details are on the card or send me pm if unsure on anything. Thanks again, Tom

Hello there, any animal lovers might like to read this fascinating story below of a devoted little couple (a kitten named Bonnie and a puppy named Clyde… found starving, and scalded by boiling water) who were rescued by this fabulous animal rescue group www.ahar.ie Please consider making a small donation as I am making a collection for them to help with their fundraising for a brand new rescue centre. Thank you, (your own name)

PS. The fact that cats and dogs are normally often sworn enemies, Bonnie and Clyde's story really hit a chord in the hearts of the Nation because of their remarkable loyalty and devotion and empathy for eachother during such a horrific ordeal.
If you're uncomfortable asking for donations please suggest that your colleagues can donate online on either of the 2 links.
