Little update on Bonnie and Clyde, they are both well and have had a skin scrape and it turns out it was boiling water that had been dropped on them. How shameful is that. They will be going into foster care till they are ready to be rehomed, as they need tlc at the moment. Will keep you all updated on them. Thank you everyone for your kind and thoughtful words and thoughts.

This message is from Suzanne through me Georgia:- We are very sad to have to write this update on Taylor. He has just died in Anita our Vets arms. She is gutted and very angry that this pup had to suffer so much in his short life. But one thing I am sure of he new real loves before he died. All the girls at the ark took turns minding him around the clock. Please let this post touch the coldest of hearts and when you don't want your animal anymore, even if its sick, please ring me or even drop it to my vets. I will never say no. Rest in peace in the arms of the angels now my beautiful baby Taylor. Follow the path of paws to the Rainbow Bridge till we meet again.

Another heart breaker. This 8 week old baby boy was found at the side of a main road while a man was out jogging. Thanks to Derek for stopping and picking him up. He fell over him in the dark and thought it was a cat. He then took him home to his wife Jenn and she rang me for help and then took him to my vets. Lucky for this baby as he has a very high temperature and is seriously ill. Waiting for results on his bloods. He really needs your prayers. Its now touch and go. Peter said tonight will say alot. God love him, hes beautiful and so tiny. Im really really fed up. All they had to do was ring me. Not dump him on a main road. He had two choices, hit by a car or die in pain and suffering. Thankyou Derek and Jenn. They have called him Taylor (after Katie Taylor) because they want him to fight for his life. I dont know about ye, but im in tears just writing that.
The now famous " Bonnie and Clyde" meet Peter our vet for their check up.
Well you would have laughed today. I had told Peter on the phone all about their story before i called in and he was laughing then but when he met the two in person boy… did he laugh…

Remember so-me? Latin for dream because she dreamed of living and finding a loving home. Now shes called Myrtle and very much loved in her in new home thanks to Gail (Allsorts dog rescue)
Had a great chat with Inger her new mummy last night and it was lovely to hear the tone of love in what she wrote. A very lucky puppy and what a stunning photo. Must say a few tears poured down my face with pride seeing her so happy.

We saved her in the pound dying of parvo, rushed her to the Ark vets and thanks to Anita, she has a happy ending. Also to Gail (Allsorts dog rescue) for finding her, a forever home.
From Juila and Keith Brooks they rehomed Spike and called her Meg.
After three months of good health, lots of food and lots of love, Meg has developed into a beautiful girl. She is now very confident and strong-willed so training is proving a bit of a battle particularly with recall! However, she is very intelligent and loving and I’m sure we are making progress. Heres a photo to show you how she has grown up Suzanne xx

ANOTHER HAPPY ENDING
Update on Monty in the words of Laura (Cavan spca)
Does anyone remember Monty named now Darwin.Darwin has settled into his new home in th UK.
On 23rd December last year I myself (Laura) took Monty out of the pound for xmas and fostered him for Cavan Spca.He was dumped and only a baby.4 days later Monty was in the vets with Parvo,we nearly lost him but from day 1 Monty was a real Fighter and he fought until he got better.Monty was in my care until he went to his new home in February 2012 but sadly he returned in July 2012 due to unforseen circumstance.Monty wanted freedom and needed lots of space to run and wanted plenty of excerice so he went to Tina Cavan Spca In July were he had fields & fields to run around in.Monty was always one step ahead of everyone and he is so clever.Monty was up for adoption again and several people came to look at him but he didnt steal a place in their heart. He stole my heart but I couldnt keep him as I didnt have the space and big gardens for him.Having been at Cavan spca from July till the end of November Suzanne Gibbons from Animal heaven animal rescue offered to help Monty and bring him to her rescue along with a few of montys friends and the Cavan pound dogs.He was only going to be at ahar for a few days while he waited for his transport to the Uk.Gail Burgess from Allsorts dog rescue in the Uk offered to find Monty his forever home in the Uk and she did it.Here he is now named Darwin settling in to his new home with his friend Lottie also from Cavan spca who travelled to the Uk together and imagine have found their forever home together. What a happy ending for these two.Their owner loves them to bits. When you see happy endings like this it is a great result of team work, rescues working alongside eachother & helping the animals its all about helping the animals. Thanks Suzanne Gibbons from ahar and Gail Burgess from Allsorts dog rescue for offering to help Monty now named Darwin and all the other cavan dogs you have helped.Darwin best wishes in your new home.Hugs & kisses from Ireland.xx
