Im sitting here doing my books. Ie bills ect. Its not adding up no matter what i do. The last few fundraisers have been so poor. So few donations, and when people donate its coppers. I know people are suffering but together we can make the coppers count. At this moment i need 1,ooo euro to pay off my vet bill before i can get credit again. I need 950 eu for my hay man. (And thats just to bring my bill up to date). The dog food at the moment is costing 113eu a day. Vaccines are on average 350eu a week. Thats not ops or extra meds. Its not diesel, esb, shavings, bedding, my jeep is in need of serious repair. We need it every min of the day for the animals. Theres ten dogs in Cavan on death row next wednesday, fifteen local to come in. We can do this but need ur help. Can you spare a few euro to keep us going? We will have our grant at christmas but we are so worried as to how we can keep going until then. Please if you can spare a few euro, we'd be so grateful. This is a post from the heart, please think about it before you press .. next.

Update from Cindi Rushton Dog Rescue…
we have some lovely news to share with all our followers….yesterday zoe asked me what i wanted for christmas…i said i wanted a wish and that would be for velvet our very special crulety case greyhound (that has been with us for a few mo
nths now getting back to health..)to find a perfect home before christmas…velvet came from ahar and was in the pound in kerry , she was left in an awfull state and the dog wardens basically said she should be pts, suzanne said ..no way .. im taking her to cindi at rushton, she made the trip and arrived and the work began to put miss velvet back on her four paws.. this girl was the worst case that has ever come into our rescue it was horrific to see every bone in her poking out and her broken skin, she slowly regained health and we finally 2 weeks ago got her spayed and ready for a home…then we waited.. and nobody came forward for miss velvet….i was gutted….then out of the blue mandy and her family arrived unanounced at the centre to walk some dogs and offer help…we gave them by chance miss velvet to walk..we didnt even think that it could be miss velvets perfect home ……then we had a phone call later that day to say they wanted to offer her a home…oh my god i screamed to zoe and was over joyed… the home check was arranged and then today they arrived to collect her… miss velvet came into my office and curled up in the bed looking very pleased with herself and then after all the paper work was done ..proudly got in to her very posh car and made the journey back to her new home… the Harpin family gave us a bottle of champagne and a tin of chocolates…(something we dont get very often at all !!!!)
