- So… Its my 40th birthday. (God dont the years fly…)
And everyone is asking…..So… Its my 40th birthday. (God dont the years fly…)
And everyone is asking… wheres the party? What do you want?
After a chat with Georgia, she said what do you really want?
I said ive 39 pound dogs booked for two UK rescues and i want to be on the boat with them but i cant afford it. Why should they be waiting here when Gail and Alan want them.
So….. she waves her magic wand….
Thanks to Gail Burgess, Alan Durrant, Georgia, Mary, Tina , Mike, Danny, Aoife and fantastic friends. I got the best birthday present i could wish for.
To load my truck and head for the Uk. The tears just poured down my face with joy.
Two very strong women made this wish happen. Georgia and Gail.
Georgia for planning it to the last mile and Gail for pulling out all stops where money was concerned.
I stood in the ferry looking at all their beautiful faces, from Cavan, Longford, Cork and Kerry pounds……
And i had butterflys in my belly…..
50 went last wednesday, 12 on saturday and 39 dogs now. Thats 101 death row dogs saved and transported to my UK rescues in 7 days…..
Supporters and friends of AHAR, take a bow….i adore ye.
This last week ive learned…. nothing is impossible when your heart and head is so driven to try and save them all….xx
- Was short of help walking the dogs yesterday, so i had to get help from Dottie….
