A Plea for Help by a Friend of AHAR

Hi,

A couple of weeks ago, I visited AHAR and saw just how many animals Suzanne is saving from desperate situations in Kerry. To put it mildy, she is swamped and needs to move as many dogs on to forever homes as possible. That really means moving quite a few of them to the UK. She also desperately needs better facilities to keep the ones she has. I’m looking for people, especially in the UK, to help me raise funds for AHAR. If you can help, even in a small way, please please PM me. Thanks!

Every dog that comes into Suzanne’s care needs to be neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and wormed… that’s say €200. Then it costs €50 – €100 to get a dog over here. Then there’s the cost of food at Suzanne’s and kenneling at this end if the dog isn’t going straight to a home. Then the dog may need vet care, as Lucy did. Even when you deduct an adoption fee from all that, it’s still a costly business. If you can raise some money to pay for a dog to start a new life, please contact me or Suzanne. There are all sorts of things we can all do to help, and many hands really does make light work.
